Author Guidelines

Journal of Art and Human Author Guidelines

All submissions to the Journal of Art and Human must comply with the following standards:

  1. Languages: The official languages of the journal are Turkish and English. All submissions must include titles, abstracts (150-250 words), and 3-5 keywords in both languages.
  2. Manuscript Formatting: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx), Times New Roman 12pt, 1.5 line spacing, 2.5 cm margins. Length should be between 5,000 and 9,000 words including references.
  3. Citation Style: Citations and references must strictly adhere to APA 7th Edition style. DOIs must be included wherever available.
  4. Anonymization: For double-blind peer review, the main manuscript file must not contain any identifying information (author names, affiliations, acknowledgments). Author details must be submitted in a separate Title Page file.
  5. Plagiarism Report: A similarity report (Turnitin / iThenticate) with a similarity index under 20% (excluding references) must be uploaded.
  6. Ethics Approval: Any research involving human participants (surveys, interviews) must upload an Ethics Committee Approval document.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
